Salt & Pepper Shrimp Recipe
Try the best recipe for shrimp! A simple an easy recipe to follow along. Great for the holidays and party tray.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Cornstarch
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 lbs Shrimp
- Oil Any oil is fine.
- Sliced jalapenos maybe about 1-2 whole jalapeños sliced in circles.
- 1 cup Chopped green onions
- ½ cup Sliced onions in shape of a rainbow white or yellow onions slice in rainbow
- 1/2 cup Red/green bell peppers
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse shrimp and place in bowl or tray for mixing.
- Add cornstarch and flour to bowl or tray. Mix well until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a nonstick pot/skillet on medium high until oil is hot.
- When the oil is ready, add shrimp into the pot. Only add enough to fit the pot.
- Fry the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- When the shrimp is ready, take out the shrimp from the pot and place it in a new bowl or a new tray for mixing.
- After all the shrimp is cooked, add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl or tray.
- Add jalapenos, onions, bell peppers, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix throughly.
- If everything taste good, then it is ready to be served. You are done!
Notes
To add more flavor you can add 1 cup of garlic powder and 1 cup white pepper. You can adjust the amount of seasoning to your taste as well.
