Peej Choj (glass noodles) Recipe

  • 1 lb Ground pork chicken or turkey works too
  • 1 pack Of glass noodle any glass noodle pack is fine
  • 1-2 cans Of bamboo shoot
  • Shredded carrots
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Chopped green onions


  • cup Oyster sauce
  • cup Thin soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Fish sauce
  • Salt & black pepper


  • Soak the glass noodles in hot water for 15 minutes or until soft. 
  • In a frying pan, cook the ground pork until evenly brown. Add salt to taste.
  • Open the can of bamboo and slice them the long way thinly. Then add the bamboo in the pan and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add in the carrots, sauces, and stir it. After 10 minutes turn it off.
  • Drain the glass noodles and place it in a bowl or tray ready to mix.
  • Pour the pot with the ground pork and veggies into the glass noodle bowl or tray. Mix it well.
  • Mix everything through. Taste it and adjust to your taste. You are finished!
