Peej Choj (glass noodles) Recipe
Try another glass noodle dish. This is one of the asian dish that family bring to gatherings!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground pork chicken or turkey works too
- 1 pack Of glass noodle any glass noodle pack is fine
- 1-2 cans Of bamboo shoot
- Shredded carrots
- Chopped cilantro
- Chopped green onions
SAUCE
- ⅓ cup Oyster sauce
- ⅓ cup Thin soy sauce
- ¼ cup Fish sauce
- Salt & black pepper
Instructions
- Soak the glass noodles in hot water for 15 minutes or until soft.
- In a frying pan, cook the ground pork until evenly brown. Add salt to taste.
- Open the can of bamboo and slice them the long way thinly. Then add the bamboo in the pan and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add in the carrots, sauces, and stir it. After 10 minutes turn it off.
- Drain the glass noodles and place it in a bowl or tray ready to mix.
- Pour the pot with the ground pork and veggies into the glass noodle bowl or tray. Mix it well.
- Mix everything through. Taste it and adjust to your taste. You are finished!
